Stamp Collectors Anonymous was formed by four friends in the aftermath of a Facebook policy change that deleted a discussion group we had all been a part of. Instead of respecting people's right to simply talk about things we were passionate about FB took the stance that simply because we were a "gun group" we needed to go. They eventually reinstated the discussion group but the bell had already been rung and Stamp Collectors Anonymous was born.

Together we decided that the NFA community was too niche and underground instead of being at the forefront of American gun culture and rather than settling for a simple discussion group on Facebook we needed to expand beyond the boundries of social networking and grow the community. If the entire NFA community bands together to bring our hobby out of the shadows and work towards a common goal we will no longer be seen as that weird uncle at every family reunion and it may be possible to deregulate NFA items or abolish the National Firearms Act entirely. That is our mision.
